On Saturday, Andrew, Oliver, Mom and Dad hiked with Ken Tripp and 3 of his 4 children: Macy, Owen and Noel. We ascended via the rocky but do-able Marion Davis Trail. While holding Oliver's hand, I disturbed a wasp nest and got stung 4 times. Fortunately, Oliver was not stung. Phew! The day was gorgeous and the views from the climbable fire tower were awesome. We could see the Boston skyline in the distance. In the pictures, the peak above the trees is Mt Monadnock. The multiple-peak picture has Temple Mt in the foreground, Mt Watatic in Ashburnham, MA as the 3rd major peak, and Mt Wachusett in Princeton, MA as the final peak. We will be climbing Mt Watatic on the 29th.
